Meet Steve

Steve is a North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina State University. He graduated with Bachelor degrees in Zoology, Chemistry, and Biochemistry. After working as a paramedic for over 10 years, he earned a Master of Health Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Duke University. He gained experience for over 10 years assisting in Mohs surgery for skin cancer treatment. Steve enjoys treating a variety of dermatologic conditions and performing skin cancer screenings as well as skin cancer treatment. He believes in a collaborative, team approach with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Steve is board-certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). He is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Steve has two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, photography, and exploring all that Raleigh has to offer.
