Meet Dr. Christman
Dr. Lisa Abernethy Christman is a general medical dermatologist, who has served Raleigh and surrounding areas for 30 years. She initially joined Dr. Stacy Miller and later worked in her own practices for most of her dermatology career. Dr. Christman grew up in Hickory, NC, and attended UNC Chapel Hill for undergrad and medical school. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Louisville, prior to settling in Raleigh.
In the field of dermatology, Dr. Christman’s expertise lies in treating pre-cancerous lesions and skin cancer, atypical moles, rashes, warts, eczema, rosacea, scalp problems, acne, and skin infections. She is most passionate about skin cancer prevention, early detection, and treatment. Dr. Christman served on the NC Committee for Cancer Coordination and Control and assisted in developing a skin cancer prevention program for the state of North Carolina.
